The Last Hope by Erin Hunter

Do you think the title fits the book? Why or why not?

I think the title fits the book because many times in the book they talk about the Four being the last hope for all of the cats. In some ways it is kind of annoying that they constantly repeat the title over and over and over but it also makes it obvious that the title fits the book.

The part of the title "the last hope" says a lot about the book. It tells the reader that the main group of people are facing a challenge that is so dangerous that they end up having to put all their hope on a few of the people. It also tells the reader that the book is must likely the last book in the series.

The other part of the title "warriors: omen of the stars" tells the reader that this book talks a lot about the prophecies that StarClan sends to the warrior clans. Also it tells the reader that the book is part of the Warrior series.

  1. I like that you expressed you're opinion about he title and that you explained why it makes sense and gave a lot of examples. Good job!

  2. How many books are there this Warriors series? Have you read a lot of them? Does a person need to read the series through from the beginning, or can you just jump in anywhere?

    1. In the main series there are about 24 books. I have read all of them. The 24 books are split into 4 mini series, 6 in each. Erin Hunter just lately finished the Warriors series. I recommend that you start with the first book, which is called "Into the Wild". Otherwise it would be really confusing. He also has written a few manga versions of the story. I am not sure how many.
